BARRISTER NUDRAT BAYAN MAJEED

Barrister Nudra is a litigation and arbitration lawyer in Pakistan with over twenty years of legal practice in judicial and arbitration courts in England and Pakistan along with extensive experience in legislative drafting, teaching and advising government on law reform. She completed her initial education from government schools in Pakistan before being awarded the prestigious Commonwealth scholarship twice, to study law at Oxford University then London School of Economics, London, England.

Barrister Nudra also did a 4yrs B.A. Honours degree in Arabic from SOAS, London and taught Shariah arbitration to commercial judges in Yemen as consultant to the UN. She practised law in England for over 10 years specialising in international commercial arbitration and related litigation. Since 2015, she has been working in Pakistan as a litigation / arbitration specialist appearing in Courts throughout the country. She heads Four Golf Road Chambers (Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Quetta) which specialises in international trade, sale of goods, infrastructure, financial crime and civil disputes. Her Chambers’ recent successes include winning the first vehicular homicide case in Pakistan; recovery of monies in an international sale of goods contract through ADR; and judgment in a financial crime litigation case.
